Hello Dr. Lam,
9 days ago I had a lip reduction surgery at the office of Dr, and I have a question about complications during the healing process. About an hour ago I was talking with a roommate when I felt what I'm pretty sure was one of the dissolvable sutures "snapping". I looked in the mirror and noticed that my lips no longer close all the way together, and there's a white lump that wasn't there before.
Have you heard of this kind of thing happening before, and if so what can I do about it until I see my doctor again in three weeks?
