silicone is not great there. the best is mechanical dermabrasion not to be confused with microdermabrasion. if they are not too deep, then plasma resurfacing. although plasma is great for skin texture it fails when it deals with deeper lines around the mouth. also, i know almost every single woman who comes to me is bothered by lines around their mouth for 2 reasons: 1) they look too closely in the mirror when make up is applied, 2) those lines are what women "think" make them look old. if i see them during consultation, then yes, i would agree to proceed. however, if i can't see them then it is a waste of your money (but i would still work on them if you like). i would have to see you in person to make that decision. if they are early lines and they are caused by a habit of pursing your lips, then botox is the best treatment because it will stop you from doing that activity.
