i have heard of it and treated a couple of patients who have reported that but never been shown before and after photos to prove it to me personally. sometimes, i see many people that do not remember what they used to look like (even though they say they do) until i show them their before photos. obviously, i am not trying to be presumptive in your case. you might have lost volume or never noticed the slight aging in certain areas before. the reason is that after a paid procedure, people tend to look at the mirror 44,000 times a day close up to see their results and then every flaw looks 40 times worse. Again, that might not be your situation. Watch my video on self perception in my postop video companion series in my video media center to hear my perspective in greater detail.
