I just had two rhinoplasty within a month, the first implant was crooked so it was removed after 12 days and another goretex implant was placed, this time the implant is smaller. The problem is I don't like it and I just want to get my old nose back, its been 18 days since my first rhinoplasty or 6 days after my second rhinoplasty but i am very unhappy, The surgeon also put a cartilage on the tip, can I still have everything remove and get my old nose back? Will I have a deformed nose or will I have an upturned nose? Please help I just want to get my old nose back! I am so scared my nose will collapse after the implant removal help!
in this case, it is perhaps better to remove it earlier than later but you are going through swelling so you may not like it because of swelling. you should speak with your surgeon about your concerns.

Thank you for your response doctor, so I already talked to my PS regarding this and he said to give it like a month after all swelling subsides, to check if I will like it. The question is does goretex implant really shrink? And after a month of having this implant inside my nose, will it already have a tissue ingrowth?
yes, the swelling will go down and you may like it. this early out you could have a lot of swelling causing you not to like it. tissue ingrowth occurs over the next few months. it is hard to say exactly when per se.

Okay, so its been a month since i had the implant and still not happy with the result, is it still safe to have the goretex implant remove after 2 months? And, there is like an indentation on the right part of my nose near the eyes, i wonder if that would still be fix?
i believe in general since goretex is so much softer than silicone that it is safe to remove in the first few months or longer after implantation. however, i ALWAYS defer to your surgeon regarding this since i don't know how big, where and what kind of gore-tex he used. even then, only he can give you the right and appropriate answer. if there is a persistent indentation, for me in my hands, it is far easier to inject a little permanent filler there to fix that ONLY IF you are not going to remove the implant obviously.
