Hi Dr. Lam! I know this might not be a question that is supposed to be in this topic, but none of my dermatologists have been able to help me. Basically, this may sound really gross but for whatever reason my acne dries up into this yellowish hard grain shaped plug. It starts out as just a normal white head, but as soon as it dries up into the hard ball it leaves an icepick scar that looks like an enlarged pore. It scars regardless if I pick at it once it hardens, but if I can squeeze it before it does then it doesn't scar. I find that it only happen to certain types of acne too. I have no idea what to do anymore besides go on another course of Accutane which to me is a last resort. I've been to dermatologists and I have no idea what to do.
Also I have some chickenpox scars. Is it better to get these scars excised or filled with silicone?
