Thanks for your answer Dr Lam
In your experience can this process take several months? I have read about the body making more of its own HA in a matter of days.
My experience a few years back with dissolving filler in my nose before revision rhino was that my nasal skin recovered about 8 weeks afterwards.
However more recently I unfortunately had to have Juvederm dissolved from my lower eyelid & orbit as too much of it created puffiness and fluid retention to the point of major lower lid herniation for 8 months. It took a while to find a practitioner in my area who stocks the enzyme. After many low dose enzyme injections over several months, I am 1 month post-hyaluronidase. My eyelids are thin & transparent with purple discoloration, new wrinkles, folds and loose skin everywhere. People say I look tired & ill. Yet I'm 30 and healthy. Even with botox (which I never needed before), everything below the eye pleats & wrinkles when I smile.
So, I have really noticed the difference between my experience with this enzyme in the nose compared to eyelids.
Anyway, I am praying the body is clever and can heal over coming months. If things don't improve i will need something like Plasma/laser/TCA to help boost collagen/elastin and tighten slightly. Right now I look like a skin pinch candidate (although I know this sort of surgery is
not good....thank you for posting videos on that topic!).
Thanks again Dr Lam
