I just wanted to wish everyone a wonderful and joyous thanksgiving. I am grateful for my mother, my sister, my brother in law, my wonderful staff, my relatives, my career, the many patients' lives whom i have had the pleasure to touch and who have touched my life in return. i am grateful that i am booked until almost february despite the current economy. i am grateful that i have a beautiful house, great food to eat, a lovely building to work in, fantastic people in the salon and the spa, great rolfers and massage therapists to save my arms and back, Dr. Ku for saving my teeth, and all the rich blessings that God has given me every day. I am thankful truly again for all of my wonderful, kind, warm-hearted, lovely, and passionate patients who make my getting out of bed and coming to work a real joy and mission for me!

My baby brother is reading your blog with me. We were just out driving around my home town and discussing his advanced age, (33) lol. Cool to log on and find this topic (how we may be remembered and those we miss) here in my favorite blog. Now we're going to be discussing for a long while, what it might've been like to be in your grandma's situation. Very, very interesting to consider.

Now you'll have a new fan and maybe a patient since he's so old. :wink:

Happy thanksgiving from the UK!

It's a special day for me, because I've wanted to give thanks to people who've helped me in my journey so far.

I started writing a bunch of names down but I think it'd just be cheesy to post here so I'll pass.

Wish everyone had a great one and wishing love, success and happiness to all!

one thing i'll say is i'm thankful for you reminding me that I need some rolfing! my shoulders/upper back are killing me, esp since i'm sat in front of the PC all the time these days. At the age of 26 I really have to watch my posture. I saw the video of the rolfing guy btw, he def looks like he knows what he's doing. How much does it cost? One of these days I should fly into Cleveland eh?

cleveland? what is that reference? i did go to cleveland to film some anti-aging videos. however, my rolfer and i are in dallas, tx. yes, get rolfed. it is awesome. i am now going to book monthly rolfs since i finished my core series of 10 a year ago and now need to maintain my body from the ravages of repetitive stress injury. i get massage every week. it helps that all of these services are in my building. i can get my mani-pedi (yes, i get them), haircuts, and teeth cleaned in my building too! you should have seen how bad my posture was 2 years ago before my rolfing. i looked like an old man being dragged by a rope. I now look much straighter and stronger and walk leaner and longer.

u're right! picked up cleveland reference when u introduced the anti-aging people i think! I'm looking for rolfers locally, costing £65 a session (a bit over $100 a session) - I suppose that's market standard, for the 10 sessions it'll be like $1k. But if it's worth it I'll take it. Believe me the posture thing is a pain in the a** for me, I've tried everything - massage, gym, alexander, stretching, yoga etc. (even though I prob should have stuck to them for longer esp yoga and pilates!) I love massages and rolfing just looks like super deep tissue stuff.

BTW does it hurt ?

it does hurt especially when they rolf your nostrils and soft palate. but it is totally worth it. my colleague told me i looked terrible 2 years ago in vegas and he was spot on right about it. since my rolfing my posture looks like a greek god. just have to tune the rest of the physique to match!
