Dr. Lam,
Can fat be injected in the upper jaw below the cheekbone to augment the face? If yes does the fat hold well in that area and does it create more of an angular appearance?

I meant in the upper jaw area. Will that provide more of an angular look to a longer face. Also when you inject the fat into the face does the cannula leave any visible marks or scars? I noticed that the instrument is very blunt and it seems their is a hole where it is injected from the videos I have watched. Is that the case?

hmm, i am still unclear with the upper jaw area meaning. however, fat grafting in general is not intended to make a face more angular but less angular, i.e., to soften it. i would have to discuss this case with you more directly.

no, fat grafting should not leave any scars since the entry site is just a needle stick that tends to heal in a few days.
