fat is not a great option in the nose for a few reasons:
1. variable resorption.
2. too soft
3. need for surgery.
i do put fat in there but only to spread it evenly over a shrinked down nose DURING a regular fat grafting. i just did that friday.
i would not redo surgery to try to stick a graft in there because it is 1, unnecessary surgery, 2, unpredictable because the graft can resorb, 3, the graft could become visible through the skin over time.
temporary products are problematic because they are temporary. duh!
that being said, silicone micro droplets are the best option. i do it almost every day. it is easy, a few minutes and permanent. the cost is $700 per treatment. usually it takes 1 to 3 sessions to build it adequately. the reason that you can't do silicone in one shot is that it could look lumpy or migrate. i have extensive experience with this product so that should not be an issue. however, you might need a second or third round depending on how scooped it is separated by at least a month. the reason for the month wait is to permit the silicone to be held in position by your collagen.
best,
