Heello Doctor, how are you and your staff doing?

Why is that fillers come or at least those who make it suggest different needles for different depths or types of injection? as in suggesting 30g needles, or 29 or 27, etc.? What is the reason to change needles? Is it necessary, a preference or...? Just curious.

Also curious, two units of botox can get a relaxing effect? My friend looking for a doc (the one I have been accompanying) finally decided to go to the same one I go (the one very careful about opening the product there, etc. etc.) and I am relieved. Only, she told me that the doc suggested for very very faint lines she has two units of botox. Did she understand well? Aren't two units too little to get any relaxing effect? Maybe not, but I have never heard of such a low dose. Does that work at all for some particular cases? or did my friend understand something wrong?

I asked my friend about the latter and she says that dose was suggested for her undereye area, in small close "dots" of 2 units of Botox from the crow's feet area to the inner eye, so to speak (without getting close to the nose, though).

Is that still a too small amount of Botox? at least I assume she would be safe in that it would not likely have adverse side effects, non?

Doctor, doesn't that sound like the type of approach I would need myself for my undereye area if I want botox for undereye wrinkles (I don't have -naturally- crow's feet)? Do you think the approach of that doc would work for my own undereye wrinkles?

(Then again, what would work best would be that you and your staff all moved to South America and so I would go there and see you all and have a blast getting to personally know you all!)

I called my friend to give her your opinion but gladly there is no problem, at least apparently: since she has some crowfeet, the doc will inject botox there, the 2 units thing apparently is what he told her for what you call the jelly roll area (my friend asked as I had told her to ask him what he would do, after reading your posts on botox on the undereye area ), at least she she understood that the 2 unit doses was the info the doc was giving her regarding the undereye area specifically, regardless of her getting botox in her crowfeet too and the glabella. That should work for her, right?

And so, when I will get botox myself, even if I don't have crowsfeet, I know now that I should get some higher dose of botox (well, the normal one) for crowsfeet, and a small dose, maybe like my friend's, on the jelly roll area only. Or else only in the jelly roll area, it won't be enough nor last enough.

what do the 0.9 and 1.2 mm cannula's amount to - 27g needles? i would like to know the needle size equivalent. thanks!
