thanks for the question. a chin implant will give better structure and projection (sticking outward) of the chin, which can make the face more balanced and perhaps more masculine. it won't however pull any skin to change the cheeks. however, two things: one, the cheeks could (emphasize could) look smaller by virtue of the chin looking larger (that is a issue of balance). however, your cheeks will continue to become smaller as you age and as you lose fat there. it will probably take ten years but that will continue. your face should not look wider but could look actually a bit narrower since the chin implant is centrally positioned.
