bravo! yes, that is exactly what happens. yes, the collagen heals and the lines start to disappear in most cases completely, and they would only return with a return of a bad habit of frowning, which would require more botox. some very rare cases where the lines are really really really really deep (which is rare), botox will only help so much and a filler may be required to speed up the result. however, i believe that botox alone can manage 99% of frowning wrinkles between the eyes with sufficient time. for a really deep line it could take over 2 years of consistent botox to improve the situation. however, if you think about it if you don't do botox, those lines will progressively worsen then it will take botox even longer to work.
