I had two moles (on my forehead) removed by a local dermatologist and was left with two rather noticeable indentions, but not scars. He even left a piece of one mole. He just used sort of shaved them off after injecting something to raise the skin. He didn't stitch them or anything like that. I don't feel like he really had aesthetics in mind. I'd like to have the remaining speck of the mole removed the way you had described in your youtube video and also see what my options were to fix the other indention. Could you possibly just use the same procedure as a mole removal to fix the indention where the mole was removed? What do you think?

Yes, I should be able to fix the indentation with the same procedure (but I am saying that without having seen you yet). Remember however, as my video describes, your recovery will be longer in that a simple shave (which leaves part of the mole behind) is easy compared to having a visible line there even for a few months that may require me to dermabrade it at 6 weeks after to make it look the best. Generally speaking if you are from out of town, it is better for you to seek a local plastic surgeon who cares about an elegant and precise mole removal like me. If you are in town near or in Dallas, I would be happy to help you. I only say this because I generally need to manage a mole several times during the first year to make it look the best, i.e., injections to prevent scarring, dermabrasion, possible laser for redness, etc. It is not a simple, let's remove it and I don't see you again. That is the level of dedication that I take when dealing with a mole. It is not just the removal (which as you know is critical), it is the after care that is equally so.
