Dr. Lam, I know you dislike placing implants because of the risks associated, but I am pretty set on getting them because 1. implants seem like a good way to lift the lower face and get a good base for filler and 2. A study came out recently that showed that people can unconsciously tell the difference between soft tissue and "hard tissue"/bone in the face, and I'm afraid I'm not fooling anyone into thinking I have nice cheekbones with the filler in my cheeks.
I was hoping you could recommend a good cheek implant surgeon(s) for me.
I'll try to find a link to the study. I honestly haven't read it all the way through so I don't know how legitimate it is, but the idea of it made sense to me.
