Have you found 5fu results to be permanent for bringing down protruding fat grafts?
Do you mix steroid into your 5fu injections?
What are the risks of 5fu injections?

5FU in my opinion will only bring down a fat graft if it is firm and fibrotic, i.e., has surrounding scar tissue in it. If it is just too much fat or a lump, it is better to excise it IMHO. once the fibrosis is managed, it should be permanently corrected. however, it might take a few rounds. the major risk of 5FU is temporary to permanent skin color changes if injected too superficially into the dermis. it should be injected deeper into the area of fibrosis to be safe. i don't mix it with steroid unless i am targeting a keloid. steroids are too risky but for keloids, 5FU alone will fail. (obviously, we are not talking about keloids here.) hope that helps.
